Dimecraft, Inc. (“Dimecraft,” “we,” “us”) operates the Dimecraft PDF Takeoff app and dimecraft.com. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you delete it.

Section 1 - Data we collect

Account data: name, email, and organization, provided when your account is created.

Content you create: PDFs, images, drawings, measurements, and takeoff data you import or produce in the app.

Usage and diagnostic data: app interactions and crash/performance data, used to operate and improve the app.

We practice data minimization and do not collect data we do not need.

Section 2 - How we use data

To provide the app, authenticate your account, sync and store your takeoff content, provide support, and improve reliability and features.

Section 3 - How we collect it

Directly from you (account info, content you create) and automatically through the app (usage and diagnostic data via the SDKs listed in Section 5).

Section 4 - Local vs. cloud

Takeoff content you create is stored on device / synced to your account.

Section 5 - Third parties and SDKs

We use the following third-party services, each bound to protect your data to the same standard as this policy:

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for cross-app tracking.

Section 6 - Data retention and deletion

We retain account data and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

In the app: Settings > Account > Delete Account.

By request: see the Account Deletion section below. Once deletion is processed, your account and associated personal data are permanently removed, except where retention is legally required.

Section 7 - Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app deletion control or contact privacy@dimecraft.com.

Section 8 - Children

Dimecraft is a professional tool not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

We will post any changes to this page and update the “Last updated” date.

This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal information when you visit this website, including information about your browser, network and device; web pages you visited prior to coming to this website; web pages you view while on this website; and your IP address.

Squarespace needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services.

This website serves font files from and renders fonts using Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts. To properly display this site to you, these third parties may receive personal information about you, including information about your browser, network, or device and information about this site and the page you’re viewing on it.

This website uses cookies and similar technologies for necessary site functions and, when you acknowledge our cookie banner, for analytics and performance. We provide your contact information to Squarespace, our hosting and email provider, to operate this website and manage our relationship with you.

Account Deletion & Privacy Choices

You control your Dimecraft account and data.

Delete in the app (fastest): Settings > Account > Delete Account. Confirm the prompt. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data.

Delete by request: email privacy@dimecraft.com from your account address with the subject “Delete my account.” We confirm your identity, process the deletion, and email you when complete. Processing takes up to 30 business days.

What gets deleted: your account, profile, and all takeoff content (PDFs, drawings, measurements) tied to the account. Some records may be retained only where required by law.
